When I was back in Malaysia, we told that the mother's day flower is actually Carnation~ but then when I came to Australia, I just realized that it is actually the Chrysanthemum the most popular one for mother's day.
Some droplets shots taken after the rain in my backyard~
These Caterpillar shots also taken in my backyard as well. I got million of them living in my garden. Unfortunately, they not gonna turn into gorgeous butterfly but some sort of moth.
All of these shots were taken from Adelaide Botanic Garden~
It is a very lovely place that I will go there once in while to see what I can photograph, as different season always have different flowers/plants around.
These are the Daisies that I am growing in my front yard~ It is winter time now but some flowers still growing very well as we don't snow.
I walked out from my house about 4PM and saw a beautiful light shinny on the flowers and I quickly grabbed my camera and give them few shots. So here is my result of the day.
The following 2 shots are not photoshop effect~ it just taken from the right derection and lights to get the starlight.
There is not much insects macro shot I could do in Australia actually, as there is not much insects around especially in winter now. So most of the time, I could only do Bee macro shots. However, it is better than nothing, but I will get bored fairly soon.
This is a tiny rose that I am growing in my garden.
This Japanese Garden located at South Terrace,Adelaide,Australia. It is one of my favorite place to do photography. I normally go there every season to get different subject to shoot. These photos were taken in late summer this year.
This is one of the most difficult shot! As I am quite far away from this tiny little dragonfly, so it was really hard for me to focus and follow the direction when it flies.
I am a Adelaide,South Australia base amatuer photographer who like to do any kind of photography as long as it is interesting and beautiful in my eyes. I like to do photography because I joined flickr, one of the best photography website in the world. I never ever thought of it would be my favorite hobby someday in my life.
I have heard a lot of people buying expensive camera, lenses, filter etc to do photography. However, from my point of view, being a successful photographer, it is no necessary to have a real expensive equipment; the most expensive tool is actually your eyes – the eyes of beauty. Without the eyes of beauty, a photo that taken from million dollars camera also worth nothing.
